A massive fire has broken out at a power plant in the northern Israeli city of Haifa, with footage circulating online reportedly capturing the aftermath of a strike by Iranian forces. Thick plumes of smoke and visible flames could be seen engulfing parts of the facility, though official confirmation from Israeli authorities remains pending.
Local media and eyewitnesses claim the blaze followed a barrage of missile attacks launched by Iran in the ongoing tit-for-tat escalation between the two nations. Emergency crews were quickly deployed to the scene, and efforts to contain the fire are ongoing.
