A horrifying scene unfolded in Kyiv on Monday as the aftermath of fresh Russian missile strikes left bodies of the dead scattered across city streets. At least 21 people are reported to have been killed, with emergency services struggling to respond amid the ongoing threat of further attacks.
The strikes, which targeted civilian infrastructure and residential neighborhoods, have once again plunged the Ukrainian capital into chaos. Witnesses described hearing a series of loud explosions before smoke engulfed entire blocks, followed by scenes of destruction and panic.
Local officials and aid workers have confirmed that many victims were killed instantly by the blasts, with others succumbing to injuries before help could arrive. Emergency crews worked frantically to recover bodies and assist survivors, but the scale of the attack overwhelmed immediate rescue efforts.
