China has issued a stern warning following Israel’s recent strikes on Iranian nuclear infrastructure, declaring that Israel has crossed a “red line” and urging immediate restraint to prevent further regional destabilization.
The warning comes amid a dramatic spike in hostilities between Israel and Iran, with Israel launching what it called “Operation Rising Lion” — a preemptive operation aimed at crippling Iran’s nuclear capabilities and deterrence systems. Iranian authorities confirmed damage to several enrichment and weapons development sites, though the full extent remains unclear.

China, a key player in nuclear non-proliferation and a permanent member of the UN Security Council, reiterated its commitment to diplomatic resolution. “We call on all parties to exercise maximum restraint and return to dialogue,” Beijing urged, while also reaffirming its support for Iran’s sovereignty.
This marks one of the strongest condemnations yet from a global superpower since the conflict reignited, signaling growing international alarm over the trajectory of the crisis.
