A devastating Israeli airstrike on a building in Tehran on Friday has reportedly killed at least 60 people, according to Iranian media sources. The attack marks one of the deadliest single incidents in the ongoing military escalation between Israel and Iran.

The strike, which occurred in a densely populated area of the Iranian capital, targeted a multi-story structure believed to be linked to Iranian security or military operations. However, the blast caused widespread destruction beyond the intended target, severely damaging nearby buildings and killing dozens of civilians in the process.

Rescue teams and emergency services rushed to the scene, working through the rubble throughout the night in search of survivors. Footage broadcast on state-run channels showed smoke rising from the debris, injured civilians being carried out, and overwhelmed medical staff at nearby hospitals struggling to treat the wounded.

The high civilian death toll has sparked outrage across Iran, with thousands taking to the streets in mourning and protest. The attack is expected to fuel further retaliation, raising concerns over a broader regional conflict that could pull in multiple state actors and destabilize the already volatile Middle East.
