The Israeli Air Force successfully intercepted a missile launched from Yemen, military officials confirmed late Sunday night, marking the latest escalation in regional tensions.
According to Israel Defense Forces (IDF), air defense systems detected and neutralized the threat mid-flight before it could enter Israeli airspace or cause any damage. The interception took place over open areas, and no casualties or infrastructure damage were reported.

While no group has officially claimed responsibility for the launch, Israeli security analysts believe the attack is likely linked to Iran-backed Houthi militants, who have previously targeted Israel in support of Palestinian factions amid the ongoing Gaza conflict.
In response, Israeli officials reaffirmed their commitment to national security and readiness to counter threats from any direction. The IDF emphasized that its air defense capabilities remain on high alert amid the evolving regional landscape.
