Brazilian winger Luis Henrique has officially completed his move to Inter Milan, according to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano. After multiple rounds of negotiations, the deal was finalized following face-to-face talks between Inter president Beppe Marotta and Marseille’s sporting director Pablo Longoria.

Henrique has signed a five-year contract and is expected to be included in Inter’s squad for the upcoming FIFA Club World Cup. The 23-year-old played a pivotal role in Marseille’s successful campaign to secure Champions League qualification, contributing nine goals and ten assists in 35 appearances across all competitions.

Despite his on-field impact, Henrique’s time at Marseille was not without controversy. Reports of internal tensions surfaced late in the season, alleging a dressing room rift involving Henrique, teammate Mason Greenwood, and club management.

Although Marseille’s Sporting Director Mehdi Benatia publicly denied these claims, frustrations were evident among fans, some of whom unfurled banners at matches reading, “Greenwood Henrique, bougez vous!”—a call for both players to step up.

Mason Greenwood, however, has dismissed any talk of discontent or a potential exit. Speaking after Marseille clinched their Champions League spot, the former Manchester United forward expressed his desire to stay with the club.

“I hope to be here next year for the Champions League. The players tell me the stadium is something special,” Greenwood said. “I think it’s been a very positive season. We’ve reached our objective. With all my teammates and coaches, I would like to thank them all.”

Greenwood had a remarkable debut season in Ligue 1, finishing as joint-top scorer with 21 goals, tied with PSG’s Ousmane Dembélé. With Henrique now heading to Italy, Greenwood is expected to become the focal point of Marseille’s attack next season as the club gears up for a return to Europe’s biggest stage.
