Iran has firmly denied claims that it is delaying diplomatic talks with the United States. Speaking on Sunday, Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Esmaeil Baqaei asserted that Tehran remains committed to dialogue and is currently awaiting Oman’s announcement regarding the timing and location of the next round of discussions.

Baqaei emphasized that Iran has not created any obstacles to the progress of the talks and is ready to engage constructively once logistical details are finalized. Oman, which has played a key role as a mediator between Tehran and Washington, is expected to release details of the upcoming meeting soon.

This development comes amid renewed efforts to ease tensions and address longstanding issues, including Iran’s nuclear program and regional security concerns. Tehran’s statement signals a willingness to continue diplomacy, despite persistent skepticism and geopolitical pressures from both sides.

Observers note that the success of the upcoming dialogue could hinge on mutual trust and the flexibility of both parties to find common ground. For now, all eyes are on Oman to set the stage for what could be a pivotal round of negotiations.
