Israeli political figure Moshe Feiglin has ignited intense backlash following a controversial and deeply inflammatory statement regarding Gaza, in which he declared that “every child, every baby in Gaza is an enemy.”

His remarks, made during a public appearance, have drawn widespread condemnation from human rights groups, international observers, and members of Israel’s own political spectrum.

Feiglin, a former Knesset member known for his far-right views, went further by stating that the enemy is not just Hamas but Gaza itself. He called for the full conquest and colonization of the territory, asserting that “true victory” could only come through the removal of the entire Gazan population, including children.

“We need to conquer Gaza and colonize it and not leave a single Gazan child there,” Feiglin said. “There is no other victory.”

His remarks come amid ongoing conflict in the region, with international leaders urging restraint, protection of civilians, and adherence to international humanitarian law. Many have warned that such rhetoric only serves to inflame tensions and undermine efforts toward peace.

Human rights advocates and international organizations have condemned Feiglin’s comments as dehumanizing and dangerous, accusing him of promoting ethnic cleansing. Analysts note that such statements, though not representative of official Israeli policy, can further damage Israel’s global image and deepen divisions within Israeli society.

As the war in Gaza continues, calls for accountability and responsible leadership are growing louder — both within Israel and from the global community.
