The professional wrestling community is mourning the loss of one of its beloved figures, Mike Raybeck — best known to fans as Maxx Justice and Mike Diamond — who passed away at the age of 63 after a tragic road accident in California.

Raybeck was cycling home from work near Chabot College in Hayward when he was fatally struck by a vehicle last week. Standing at six-foot-five and weighing 250 pounds, he was a towering presence both in and out of the ring, revered for his charisma, strength, and impact on the wrestling world, particularly across California’s independent circuit.

Raybeck began his journey in professional wrestling through All Pro Wrestling’s (APW) Boot Camp, where he quickly rose through the ranks to become a five-time APW Universal Champion.

Under the ring name Maxx Justice, he co-founded the original Border Patrol tag team alongside fellow APW star Michael Modest. Their intense presence and chemistry captivated fans across the state and left a lasting legacy in the indie wrestling scene.
