Tensions in Europe spilled into the streets of Copenhagen as demonstrators gathered in the Danish capital for a large anti-Israel protest. The protest, which took place in the city center, drew hundreds of participants expressing outrage over Israel’s ongoing military campaign in Gaza.
Chanting pro-Palestinian slogans and waving flags, the protesters marched through the streets demanding an end to what they described as Israel’s aggression and calling for international intervention to stop the violence.
The demonstration was peaceful but highly charged, with speakers condemning the humanitarian crisis in Gaza and urging the Danish government to take a firmer stance in support of Palestinian rights.

This protest comes amid growing international criticism of the escalating death toll in Gaza, where Israeli airstrikes have led to widespread devastation and civilian casualties. Organizers of the Copenhagen march said the demonstration was part of a broader effort to show solidarity with Palestinians and to pressure Western governments to act.

Police were present in large numbers to ensure public order, but there were no immediate reports of clashes or arrests. As the conflict in the Middle East intensifies, such demonstrations are expected to continue across European cities, reflecting deep divisions and strong emotions on all sides of the issue.
