Real Madrid have reportedly finalized a deal to sign highly-rated defender Dean Huijsen, according to trusted transfer insider Fabrizio Romano. Romano reports that Real Madrid have already agreed personal terms with Huijsen, effectively sealing the transfer. The final formalities now rest on the medical examination and the signing of the contract, which is expected to run for five years.

Earlier this week, Real Madrid officially notified Bournemouth of their decision to activate Huijsen’s €60 million release clause. The fee, which will be paid in three installments, reflects the club’s high regard for the rising star and their determination to fend off interest from England’s elite.
The signing aligns with Madrid’s long-term vision under new head coach Xabi Alonso. Huijsen had been identified as a top priority following internal discussions on strengthening the squad.
