Alarming reports have emerged accusing Hamas of using humanitarian aid bags marked with the United Nations Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA) logo to disguise rocket launchers in Gaza. The claims have drawn sharp criticism and raised serious concerns about the exploitation of international aid for military purposes.

Images and videos circulating online allegedly show rocket systems concealed within or behind bags typically used for distributing aid to civilians. If verified, such actions could constitute a violation of international humanitarian law and endanger the neutrality of humanitarian agencies operating in conflict zones.

Israeli defense officials have pointed to these alleged tactics as part of a broader pattern in which militant groups embed military infrastructure within civilian areas, complicating efforts to minimize harm to non-combatants during military operations.

UNRWA, which provides essential services such as food, shelter, and education to Palestinian refugees, has not yet issued a formal response to the latest claims. In previous instances, the agency has condemned any misuse of its facilities or materials and emphasized its commitment to neutrality.

The international community continues to monitor the situation closely, as calls grow for independent investigations into how humanitarian aid may be exploited in conflict zones. This development underscores the complex and often dangerous intersection of humanitarian relief and armed conflict in Gaza, where the civilian population remains deeply affected by ongoing hostilities.
