In a strong and decisive response to the recent terror attack in Pahalgam, India launched targeted military strikes early Wednesday on nine terror-related locations across Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied-Kashmir (PoK).
According to government sources, these preemptive actions were aimed at dismantling the infrastructure supporting terrorist operations in the region.
The move follows the brutal Pahalgam terror attack that claimed the lives of 25 Indian nationals and one Nepali citizen, sparking widespread condemnation both domestically and internationally.
The Indian Defence Ministry described the strikes as part of the country’s unwavering commitment to holding perpetrators of terrorism accountable.

“These steps were taken in the aftermath of the barbaric terrorist attack in Pahalgam. We are fulfilling our promise to bring those responsible to justice,” the Defence Ministry stated.
The coordinated military response sends a clear message: India will act decisively to protect its citizens and sovereignty. It also reflects a broader geopolitical strategy to isolate and neutralize terror networks operating across borders.
