Cristiano Ronaldo has once again etched his name into football history, adding another remarkable achievement to his illustrious career.
The Portuguese superstar set a new record for the most wins in international football, surpassing his former Real Madrid teammate, Sergio Ramos. This milestone came after Portugal’s emphatic 5-1 victory over Poland in November, where Ronaldo played a pivotal role by scoring twice.

To officially recognize this feat, Ronaldo was presented with a Guinness World Record plaque ahead of Portugal’s UEFA Nations League quarter-final second leg against Denmark at the Estadio Jose Alvalade.

This latest accolade adds to an already extensive list of records held by the five-time Ballon d’Or winner, including the most goals in international football, being the first player to score 100 goals in the UEFA Champions League, and being the most-followed male on Instagram.

However, the celebratory moment did not translate into a dream performance on the pitch. During the match against Denmark, Ronaldo had an opportunity to mark the occasion in style but missed a penalty in the first half. Despite the setback, his contribution to international football remains unparalleled.

Looking ahead, the 40-year-old forward is set to return to club action with Saudi Arabian side Al-Nassr on April 4. A high-stakes encounter awaits as Al-Nassr prepares to face arch-rivals Al-Hilal in what promises to be a thrilling clash.
Even as he approaches the twilight of his career, Ronaldo continues to break barriers and set new standards, reinforcing his status as one of the greatest footballers of all time.
