Manchester United appear to be losing patience with André Onana, as reports suggest the club is preparing to offload the Cameroonian goalkeeper to Saudi Arabia this summer.
According to The Sun, newly linked manager Rúben Amorim has already started identifying potential replacements, with a focus on young, talented goalkeepers from across Europe.

One of the top names on United’s radar is Senne Lammens, the highly rated 22-year-old Royal Antwerp shot-stopper who recently earned a place in Belgium’s national squad for the Nations League. His performances have not gone unnoticed, and he is seen as a promising candidate for the No.1 spot at Old Trafford.

Another option being explored is Lucas Chevalier from Lille. The French goalkeeper has been attracting interest from both Manchester clubs, with Pep Guardiola also reportedly looking for a long-term successor to Ederson at City.

With Lille expected to demand around £40 million ($51 million) for his services, United will likely have to fend off competition if they decide to make a move.

Both goalkeepers are under contract with their respective clubs until 2027, meaning negotiations won’t be straightforward. However, with United looking to rebuild and strengthen ahead of next season, securing a reliable No.1 could be a top priority.

As the international break nears its end, United will return to Premier League action on April 1, facing third-placed Nottingham Forest in what could be a decisive clash. Whether Onana remains at Old Trafford beyond the summer remains to be seen, but the club’s search for a new goalkeeper is certainly heating up.
