Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has made it clear that negotiations with Hamas will only proceed under military pressure, following a series of intense airstrikes on Gaza that have reportedly killed over 400 people.

In a televised address on Tuesday, Netanyahu emphasized that Israel’s military operations in the Palestinian territory were far from over, warning that the latest wave of attacks was just the beginning of a broader offensive.

“Hamas has already felt the strength of our hand in the past 24 hours,” Netanyahu declared. “And I want to promise you—and them—this is only the beginning.” He further asserted that Israel would maintain its military campaign, making it clear that any future negotiations would only take place “under fire.”

Netanyahu stressed that sustained military pressure was critical for securing the release of Israeli hostages held by Hamas. His remarks signaled a firm stance against any immediate ceasefire, reinforcing Israel’s strategy of using force as leverage in its conflict with the militant group.

The latest escalation comes amid mounting casualties and widespread destruction in Gaza. As airstrikes continue to intensify, international calls for restraint have grown louder. However, Israel remains resolute in its commitment to dismantling Hamas’ military capabilities and ensuring national security.
