As the summer transfer window approaches, Neymar’s future is once again the subject of intense speculation. According to reports from Sport, renowned football agent Pini Zahavi is in discussions to orchestrate a potential move for the Brazilian superstar to either Barcelona or Bayern Munich.
Having played a pivotal role in Neymar’s record-breaking transfer from Barcelona to Paris Saint-Germain in 2017 and his subsequent switch to Al-Hilal, Zahavi is now exploring another high-profile move.
Zahavi’s close ties with Barcelona president Joan Laporta have fueled speculation about Neymar’s potential return to the Catalan giants. With Barcelona actively searching for a left-sided attacker, Neymar is reportedly open to signing a one-year contract.

Financial constraints, however, pose a significant challenge, and while Neymar is willing to accept a reasonable salary, the club’s ability to finalize a deal depends on offloading players.
Despite these discussions, Barcelona has yet to make a concrete move for their former star. Sporting director Deco has reportedly dismissed the idea, citing tactical concerns under newly appointed head coach Hansi Flick.

Additionally, with most of the current squad reluctant to leave, generating funds for major signings remains an uphill battle.
While Zahavi is also exploring a move to Bayern Munich, the Bundesliga giants are not actively planning a squad overhaul in 2025. Their primary transfer focus remains on Bayer Leverkusen’s Florian Wirtz, whom they are targeting for 2026.

Although Neymar has ruled out a move to the Premier League, Bayern has yet to express genuine interest in signing him, leaving his future uncertain.

Since rejoining Santos in January, Neymar has showcased glimpses of his brilliance, recording three goals and three assists in seven appearances. His impressive performances have not gone unnoticed, earning him a recall to the Brazilian national team under coach Dorival Junior.
This marks his first return to the Selecao squad since suffering a serious knee injury against Uruguay in October 2023.

Neymar remains focused on helping Santos as they prepare to face Corinthians in the semi-finals of the Paulista Championship on March 9. If he continues to perform at a high level, European clubs may be more inclined to pursue him in the summer transfer window.
With Zahavi actively working behind the scenes, Neymar’s next move is still up in the air. Whether he returns to Barcelona, embarks on a new challenge in Germany, or stays in Brazil for the foreseeable future, the upcoming transfer window promises to be another dramatic chapter in his storied career.
